SMP 7 - Lowestoft and Felixstowe

The Lowestoft to Felixstowe SMP, covers the 72 km of coastline between these two seaside towns. Most of this rural stretch of coast is included in the Suffolk Coasts and Health’s Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which is designated for special heathlands, woodlands, estuaries and coast. The SMP covers a variety of frontages, from the nationally important nuclear power station Sizewell, to the large shingle spit of Orford Ness. 

SMP 7 is led by the East Suffolk Council supported by the Client Steering Group.
